What I question is the person who set up the text. Of course, it’s not always easy to “just make more money.” That may require a healthy dose of soul-searching or advancement in a person’s education. What genius thought that the way to be more successful (monetarily anyway) was just to go out and make more money? No, I was just looking at the title and sub-titles. Mind you, I’m not taking issue with the article itself, there were some good insights as to what to do to improve your situation or to look at why you may not be as successful as you might like. It said, “Not making enough money.” How insightful! There were three “suggestions,” under sub-headings, and not to bore you with all the reasonings, it was the last that caught my eye. The title of this article was “According to more than 200 millionaires, success comes down to this decision.” Even in retirement, I’m always looking to see if I can raise my status, although making it to “millionaire” might be a stretch. It seems like just as I get to thinkin’ that there’s nothing left that I can make a mockery about, something like this raises its head and proclaims “Here I am!” I had also been thinking about how and where I might get the next idea to write about for my “Ink Slinger” column. Finding out that the new flavor of Girl Scout cookie, Raspberry Rally, which usually fetches under $10 a box, was being offered for resale (not by the Girl Scouts) on particular websites for as much as $100 a box outrageous!
